Imagine each team member in a company knows where they fit in and what part they have to play to take the company from good to great, because, lets's be honest, there is nothing worse than the right person in the wrong job.
Team members who understand one another's abilities not only trust one another, they can easily distinguish the areas in which their time and talents are most effectively applied from those better left in the hands of teammates. It's easy to see how this improves the team's efficiency. |

- Have you ever been in a situation where your team is meeting weekly to hash out the issues surrounding your project, but despite seemingly endless discussion, resolutions are rare and actual decisions hard to come by?
- Have you had one team member run roughshod over the process in an effort to be productive, dominating it so that the knowledge, experience and talents of the other team members are largely wasted?
- Have you ever teamed with someone who just doesn't seem to grasp the concept? Sometimes "teams" are teams in name only, and on closer inspection bear more resemblance to individuals sitting in a room together, separately focusing on a common topic.
Strengthsfinder will help you to deconstruct the daily operation of your team, identifying where it bogs down and where it over-accelerates. Examining those areas from a strengths perspective can offer you insights about how to achieve a more complementary balance. Those insights can then be used as a basis for dialogue within the team, allowing each member to better understand his or her ideal role relative to the other team members. In this way, you can then ensure that the team operates as more than the sum of its parts.

TEAM DYNAMIC
What to expect
This is a 2- 3 hour session that can be added after the Exploration of Strengths session or the Individual Coachings. In this session the focus is the Team Dynamic.
The TEAM DYNAMIC session can be facilitated with a maximum of 12 team members at a time.
We STRONGLY recommend that the Team Dynamic session be preceeded by individual coaching sessions with each member of the team
We also recommend that multiple team sessions during the course of a year, as well as recurring individual session with intermittent feedback be considered after the initial session for maximum effect

- Your StrengthsFinder couch will explain to the rest of the team how each member’s combination of Strengths function, how they should be managed, and how they could be applied on a project.
- We discuss the Team Strengths Matrix.
- We discuss what type of tasks energises each team member and how team members can be combined on projects in order to be most effective.
- We also look at Opposing Strengths in a team, Projecting of Strengths, and which Strengths are lacking in a team and how to work around them.
- Throughout the session we facilitate team building exercises to further discover how to apply each member’s strengths.
